The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Airport Planner to join our New Zealand team. The position
architectural background to join our team leading projects and having direct client management roles
and responsibilities. Experience with either AutoCAD/Revit in a terminal or airside planning role is

Essential Requirements
- Has experience in an airport planning consultancy or within an airport or airline planning

area of the business.
- Has had direct experience leading projects (of any scale)
- Has relevant tertiary qualifications such as in airport planning, aviation management,

business, engineering, architecture, or transport.
- Has Excel and modelling expertise or AutoCAD/Revit expertise.
- Is self-motivated, requiring mínimal supervision, accountable and willing to take on

responsibilities within a team environment.
- Can demonstrate commitment and ability to provide quality work and meet agreed

deadlines.
- Has good written and oral presentation skills.
- Has good time management, organizational skills to prioritize work and coordinate tight

deadlines.
- Has strong research skills and ability to collate and concisely communicate key findings in

written reports, slide decks, and in-person meeting formats.
- Has the ability to participate in and contribute to meetings to develop and implement

successful project solutions by helping to prepare materials, supporting schedule
coordination, and developing meeting minutes and summaries.
Beneficial Requirements
- A passion for aviation
- Has worked in an aviation related role for 5 years or more.
- Has AutoCAD/MicroStation expertise in a design role
- Experience in CAD 3D (i.e. Autodesk design suite - Infraworks, Revit, Civil 3D)
- Has airport noise management or modelling experience, preferably using AEDT software.
- Working knowledge of graphic tools such as MSOffice, Adobe CS and 3D software such as

Sketch-up
- Experience in airside planning at airports (airfield and aprons)
- Experience in terminal planning at airports

- This position is to be based in our Auckland office or Christchurch.
