We work tirelessly to deliver meaningful and transformative services that align with our strategic outcomes, empowering whānau to thrive and succeed.**Responsibilities**: As the Funding Advisor and an essential member of the F&C team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Te Whānau o Waipareira Trust and its affiliate groups in achieving their service delivery goals. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and secure funding opportunities to drive our vision forward. - You will work closely with stakeholders to identify potential funding sources, aligning them with our organization's strategic objectives. This will involve coordinating hui, gathering critical information, and engaging in cross-functional collaboration to set planning and strategy for all Wai Groups to ensure the needs of whānau and the community are effectively communicated. - Your expertise in analyzing data and information will be instrumental in supporting the preparation of RFPs (Request for Proposals). Your proposals will showcase Te Whānau o Waipareira Trust's unique value proposition emphasizing our commitment to the betterment of whānau and community. - As a Funding Advisor, you will collaborate with various internal teams to ensure seamless integration and coordination in the proposal development process and manage the administration of our funding steam. Your ability to work effectively across teams will be crucial in maximizing our chances of securing funding.**Qualifications and Skills**: - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related field with demonstrated success, preferably in the not-for-profit or associated sector. - Strong analytical abilities to gather, interpret, and synthesize data for effective proposal development. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate our organization's mission, values, and impact to potential funding providers. - Highly motivated "self-starter" capable of managing competing priorities and the ability to work under tight deadlines. - Ability to anticipate needs, show initiative, and think outside the box. - Intermediate proficiency in excel - A demonstrated ability to get on with people, a questioning approach, and a willingness to learn. - Attention to detail, strong planning and problem-solving skills. - A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of whānau and the community. **Nau Mai, Haere Mai.** Te Whānau o Waipareira is one Aotearoa's largest non-government organisations, having served the Waitākere Region for over 30 years.
