Freshmax Group is one of the largest fresh produce growing, marketing and distribution operations in the Southern Hemisphere.

We are best recognised in the Hawke’s Bay region with our industry-leading Crasborn Fresh Harvest operation across orchards, packhouse and coolstores.

The apples are ready, so we have opportunities for seasonal staff to join our team from February onwards. We have opportunities available in both our packhouses and our coolstores. There are all sorts of positions available including forklift drivers, QC and stackers.

If you've previously worked in the horticulture industry, we'd love to have you back and can offer positions that reflect your previous knowledge and experience.

If you've never worked in the horticulture industry before, we have entry level positions available. We can provide all training needed, and employees who show motivation, reliability and a great work ethic will be able to quickly progress to more specialised roles.

We are operating two packhouses this summer, so we have opportunities available for both vaccinated and unvaccinated employees. We will also be operating day and night shifts.

Due to COVID we are enforcing restricted access to site, staggered shifts, temperature checking and mask wearing. To keep everyone (& their whanau at home) healthy and safe, we expect everyone to follow these rules at all times.

You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand to be considered for this role.
