- Hāpai Te Hauora Tapui Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Research Associate to join our team and make a positive impact on Māori Health Research.
- As a Research Associate, you will play a key role in conducting research for various projects on behalf of Hāpai Te Hauora, while also assisting in the coordination and delivery of Maōri Health Research activities and projects. Your work will be instrumental in using evidence-based approaches to strengthen whānau ora community action and enhance wellness for whānau, hapu & iwi.-
**Tē Tunga | The Role**
- Conduct research work for assigned projects in alignment with Hāpai Te Hauora's objectives.
- Employ evidence-based methodologies and approaches to contribute to the improvement of Māori health outcomes.
- Collaborate with the research team and stakeholders to ensure high-quality and impactful research.
- Ensure efficient coordination and delivery of project requirements.
- Contribute to appropriate service delivery initiatives to address Māori health inequalities and disparities.
- Collaborate with the team to devise strategies for improving the overall health status of te iwi Māori.
- Engage with Māori communities to understand their needs and perspectives.

**Nōu te Rourou | What you bring**
- Relevant tertiary qualification, with minimum of 3 years experience in research.
- Superb communication skills, including presentation, written and oral.
- Strong data collection and analysing skills.
- Computer literacy, good presentation skills and report writing.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude.
- Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
