**Team Leader/Co-ordinator Thames Sterile Services,**:

**About the Role**

As a Co-ordinator, you will oversee the day to day running of the unit. You will be responsible for delivering sterilised equipment to the Operating theatre and our other stakeholders. You will be the go to person for the team, you will troubleshoot equipment malfunctions. You will ensure standards are maintained in according with IPC principles.

**_ Key responsibilities:_**
- Coordinate and allocate departmental resources on a shift-by-shift basis
- Ensure all required tests and monitoring are completed and documented
- Report any discrepancies to the SSU Management Team
- Package instruments and sets according to end-user specifications
- Adhere strictly to SSU packing and checking policies
- Participate in technical, clinical, quality, and administrative SSU activities
- Foster a strong team environment with effective communication and conflict resolution
- Conduct weekly and monthly audits

Our team of 3 Sterile Service Technicians work part time plus one casual Technician.

**About you**
- Hold a Level 4 Sterilising Technology Certificate
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills
- Proven customer service experience
- Familiarity with MaQS Plus system (desired)
- Able to support and enhance team performance to meet organisational goals
- Take initiative and personal responsibility in delivering results
- Self-aware and committed to continuous leadership development
- Willing and able to undertake shift work
