**Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki ēnei mahi (About these positions)**

Your hourly rate will be $23.15 to $28.25 (from 1 April 24) dependent upon your qualifications as recognised under the Care and Support Workers (Pay Equity) Settlement Act 2017.

**Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)**

We’re looking for people who:

- Have a sense of humour, energy and enthusiasm
- Are patient and kind, friendly and helpful
- Have good social skills and the ability to relate well to others
- Have the ability to understand non-verbal behaviours
- Have good written and spoken language skills in English and/or Te Reo.
- Have basic maths and computing knowledge
- Have confidence in assisting with personal cares
- Have a current full NZ driver’s licence (confident driving both automatic and manual vehicles).
- Have NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 2 to 4) or equivalent (preferred), or the willingness to complete this level of study in the workplace.
