Asbestos Removal Supervisor
Ceres New Zealand
- Supervise Class A & B asbestos projects.
- Ensure removal works are carried out as per all regulations, approved codes of practice.
- Implementing company health & safety policies, processes, and procedures
- Problem solving and decision making on-site
- Working to timeframes and budgets
- Monitor site tidiness and housekeeping
Project Management
- Building and motivating our people to meet project goals while adhering to their duties
and responsibilities.
- Assist with daily scheduling of all plant, material, and personnel assuring that the site is
fully operational.
- Input into the creation of management plans (SSSP, DMP, ARCP etc.)
- Make timely recommendations and actively participate in updating strategies,
programmes, processes, training, and policies.
Demolition
- Supervise strip out and other demolition works when required
- Deliver the characterisation, demolition, remediation and restoration phases of the project
and associated documentation to meet safety, quality, and cost programme objectives by
implementing the strategy as defined in the contract.
- Control and resolve technical queries throughout the project.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with Ceres NZ subcontracting
community.
- Oversee and support the mechanics daily duties and responsibilities.
- Fiscal responsibility for projects and demolition operation, in general.
Site Paperwork
- Complete required paperwork for each project (Task Analysis, Hazard Register etc.) and
ensure staff are completing their RPE daily checks etc.
- Ensure all paperwork is regularly scanned and updated on to the SharePoint online system
for means of auditing and evidence.

Meetings
- Attend Weekly Operations Meetings and give updates on your current project to the wider
Ceres NZ team.
- Attend other meetings as required.
Training
- Attend training courses as required for your role.
- Train and encourage the less experienced members of the team by way of practical
learning on-site as well as in-house training via safe working procedures etc.
Administrative
- Maintains accurate records as required
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Teamwork
- Commit to continuously developing leadership skills and attributes
- Participates in and contributes to an enthusiastic and competent work team.
- Leading the team ensuring they have the resources and capabilities they require to
complete the tasks

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
