Our client is a long established Registered Master Joinery business based in Timaru, South Canterbury specialising in the delivery of high-quality commercial, architectural, and residential joinery. With a proud history and family-oriented culture, they have been providing high quality joinery throughout the South Island since 1965.
Due to growth, they are looking for an experienced Joiner to join their busy team. The role is factory based, with some site installation work. You will need to have proven skills in joinery, carpentry working within residential / commercial environments. You will be responsible for collaborating as part of the team on the factory floor to complete customer orders, as well as taking a leading role in coaching and developing apprentices.
**You will need**:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in high end commercial and residential joinery
- Experience with cabinetry and kitchen construction
- Experience in the production of solid timber joinery, ideally external windows and doors.
- The ability to collaborate with an equally passionate team to make sure things are getting done on time and to the right standard
- Ability to solve problems and think on your feet
- Full clean drivers’ licence
- Pass pre-employment drug test
