**Abou**t the opportunity**
We're looking for a **Quality Controller** to join our dedicated Quality team - the people who ensure T&G Fresh delivers the very best fresh fruit and vegetables to our customers. Based in Mt Wellington, this is a fast paced, hands-on role.
This role works Sunday to Thursday, 4.00am to 12.30pm - the early start means the afternoons are yours to enjoy
Key responsibilities include:
- Inspecting fruit and vegetables to identify defects
- Liaising with internal teams and customers on quality issues
- Ensuring procedures comply with audits and food safety standards
**About you**
This role could suit someone with experience in stores / warehousing, hospitality, or retail looking to try something new. It's also a great opportunity for a Food Technology or Horticulture graduate, or someone with fresh produce knowledge.
There’s lots to learn, so you’ll need to be curious and willing to roll your sleeves up and learn by doing. You’ll enjoy being part of a supportive team, led by a manager who will share their knowledge and experience with you.
Physical fitness is required as you'll be on your feet with the ability to lift up to 20kg.
