About us

When you join dentsu, Asia Pacific’s largest and most awarded agency network, you’re becoming part of one team. A team with diverse talents span across creative, media, human experiences, and technology. And a firm with a shared ambition: to innovate the way brands are built.

What your role and responsibilities might look like

We are on the lookout for a talented Full-stack developer. Our developers are responsible for building, testing and debugging of clean and compliant code. They’re passionate technologists who thrive on building user interfaces that people love.

What you might expect to do in your day to day:

- Write well-formed, unobtrusive Typescript with scalability and extensibility in mind

- Utilise your knowledge of AWS services, MySQL, and the command line
- Use a wide variety of modern stacks (e.g. Typescript, React, React Native, testing libraries, GraphQL, REST, Storybook, Next, Gatsby, Tailwind)
- Can demonstrate knowledge/exposure to package managers and module bundlers (Webpack, Babel, npm, yarn)
- Comfortable and proficient using version control with Git, Gitflow and code reviews.
- Work closely with clients and support the Project Managers and sales team to scope and quote new projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives.

A bit about you:

- At least 2 years’ (intermediate level) experience in a Full-Stack Developer role. Ideally within a web/digital or creative advertising agency environment, but this is not essential.
- Demonstrated experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a focus on React.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, integrating APIs, and a strong understanding of software design principles.
- Recent mobile app development experience using React Native.
- Familiarity with PHP, WordPress, Silverstripe, Contentful, Storyblok, and Amazon Web Services is a plus.
- Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML and CSS as well as libraries such as Tailwind and Bootstrap
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Detail orientated and solution focused, proactively identifies potential problems early in the project lifecycle and takes responsibility for developing realistic solutions with a positive approach.
- A proactive communicator, able to effectively collaborate across teams and departments to share ideas, gain the right outcomes, and prioritise efforts to meet internal and external deadlines.
- Accountable and dependable, able to manage own deliverables, passionate about the work you produce and being a supportive team member to achieve wider team goals.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
