**About the role**

We are currently seeking a highly motivated clerk, to join our friendly and supportive Booking Team based at North Shore Hospital. The purpose of this role is to co-ordinate and facilitate the patients journey for services offered at North Shore & Waitakere Hospitals. This includes planning and scheduling appropriate clinic appointments and patient’s surgery events efficiently and effectively for your group of doctors, to ensure optimal utilisation of the service provided to the public within the Waitematā District.

**About you**

As the first point of contact for our patients, it is essential that you have a good command of the English language (both written and verbal) and promote a professional image whilst providing excellent customer service. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and is willing to go the extra mile and strives for excellence. - Previous experience working as a booking clerk within a health environment
- Knowledge of hospital information systems
- Outstanding administration and telephonic skills - call centre and health experience would be welcomed
- Accurate computer and data entry skill with attention to detail
- Self-motivated
- Strong customer focus
- Process and procedure orientated
- Flexibility and willingness to work with changing priorities are essential
- Great interpersonal skills
