What you’ll be doing

Working as a sub-contractor from our Wellington office you will support clients throughout the wider region on their return to work and life journey. Utilise your skills in encouragement and motivation as you partner with a VARIED caseload of clients to gain independence and reduce the impact of their injury or disability.

Reporting to a locally based Team Leader and part of a SUPPORTIVE, multidisciplinary team, you will deliver rehabilitation to a range of clients through:
Supporting clients in achieving a maximum level of functional independence in line with established goals

Patience, empathy and understanding of different cultural perspectives

Working with direct guidance from a range of registered Allied Health professionals

Liaising with case managers, internal panels, and other team members

In-home or community based support, planning and coordination of tasks and daily activities

**What you’ll need to succeed**:
Tertiary qualification in Sports, Exercise, Physiology or other health related discipline or previous experience within a rehabilitation setting

Post graduate experience or willingness to work with clients who have been injured or are living with a disability

Well developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships, encourage and motivate others

Full NZ/AU Driver's Licence
