Are you looking for a job where no two jobs are the same? Specialising in vehicle recovery, assisting with breakdowns and accidents. If this sounds like you then look no further. Our client Rotorua and Taupo Towing are looking for a Class 2 Driver to join their team.

**_Please note, to be considered for the role you must live in Taupo. This is not a transport or line-haul job, it is a vehicle recovery driver job._**

Some of the duties you will carry out include towing of vehicles, accident recovery, breakdowns & other general duties.

This role will predominantly be 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, (40 hours per week). With rostered weekends and nights on call, but due to the nature of vehicle recovery this can change in an instant so you must be flexible. The hourly rate being offered for the role is $30.00 - $35.00 hour plus on-call non-taxable allowances.

**This job requires you to be**:

- Practical & able to think outside the square
- Motivated & can work as part of a team
- Have good communication skills, honest, well presented & be fit & professional
- Able to follow instructions & cope well under pressure
- Be flexible, adaptable & reliable
- Some mechanical knowledge is required would suit an ex-mechanic

**Applicants for this position must have the following**:

- Class 2 driver’s licence
- Have held a full New Zealand class 1 driver's licence for a minimum of two years.
- Must pass a POLICE CLEARANCE CHECK for fit & proper person — This is part of the V endorsement process so must be met.
- Have a clean driver's licence & no criminal history (required as part of Police clearance check)
- Applicants for this position should have NZ residency and live in Taupo
