**About the Role**

As our Electrical Planner you will report to the Electrical Coordinator and work alongside a team of multi skilled electricians, electrical engineers and technicians while also collaborating with wider Pulp teams, including other planners to complete work. In your role you will support the daily maintenance work & minor projects for the electrical team by providing planning, scheduling, and part management expertise. You will also assist with analysing completed work and identify future opportunities for efficiency improvements and best practice. Your role significantly contributes to the pulp mill meeting its performance targets through well planned & resourced work, allowing domestic and international customer orders to be met. Some of your key responsibilities are:

- Plan all maintenance activities
- Parts sourcing and procurement
- Review, maintain and update work order records
- Procurement of non-standard services required to perform work
- Provide job safety training to relevant contractors
- Create documentation and records for future reference
- Weekly reports on job completion rates

This is a day position 8.00 - 16.30 Monday - Friday. This role is based at our Whirinaki site located 15 mins north of Napier.

You also have the following skills:

- relevant electrical qualification/degree
- either, 3 years experience in a planning role or 3 years experience in a practical electrical role with a passion for planning
- strong planning & organisation skills
- ability to work collaboratively
- a strong electrical aptitude and demonstrated practical experience
- planning or project experience would be advantageous
- experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- strong attention to detail
- good oral and written communication skills
