**Collective Building Limited** is looking for 2 full-time Construction Workers in the construction field to perform routine tasks to the company quality standards. **Vacancy Details** **Job Title**: Construction Worker **Location**: Wellington Region **Employment Type**: Full-time **Days required**: Monday to Sunday on shift **Number of Vacancies**: 2 positions **Hours per week**: 30 to 50 hours **Hourly Rate**:$26.69 to $32.00 **To be right for this role and our organization, you need**: - No prior experience or qualifications are required but it would be an advantage if you had similar experience. - If you do not have any experience, we are happy to provide on-the-job training. - Ability to work under pressure on a busy construction site. - Strong commitment to safe work practices. - Be hard-working, reliable, and motivated. - Able to deal with unexpected events and make decisions. - Can work well and efficiently both unsupervised and within a team. - Physically fit the job and can work outdoors in the hot and cold season. **Key tasks & responsibilities**: - Cleaning the construction sites for the erection of structures and buildings. - Assisting in setting up the job sites and preparing the layouts. - Operating and caring for the construction tools, equipment and machines. - Helping carpenters and all other skilled tradesmen with their work whenever necessary. - Loading or unloading or moving construction materials, tools and equipment & heavy lifting around the building site. - Helping erecting and dismantling scaffolding and other site facilities. - Following instructions from supervisors. - Using equipment, machinery & tools in a responsible & safe manner. - Clean work area, maintain work tools and machines daily after the work is done. **Please note your visa status in the cover letter or CV if you are not a New Zealand Citizen or Resident.** **If you feel this job is right for you, please forward your CV with a cover letter by clicking "APPLY" now.** **Act on the employer's behalf to conduct a recruitment advertisement.** **Salary**: $26.69 - $32.00 per hour Schedule: - 8 hour shift Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay Application Question(s): - If not, do you require a visa support? - Are you a New Zealand Citizen or Resident visa holder? - Do you need a work visa?
