**About the role**

We are looking for Electrical Fitters to join our division based in West Auckland. We are after people who are keen to join our team and contribute to the manufacture of high quality switchboards in a safe and friendly environment. We would prefer people with experience in manufacturing switchboards although this is not essential.

The role includes the following:

- Assembly of electrical switchboards in our workshop.
- Reading and understanding electrical drawings.
- Setting out panels and control wiring.
- Using hand and power tools.
- Cutting, punching, and bending copper busbar.
- On-site installation and modification of switchboards.

**Skills and Experience**
- Good communication skills.
- The ability to be well organised, to prioritise work tasks, and exercise initiative.
- The ability to problem solve.
- An attention to detail.
- A customer service focus.
- The ability to demonstrate experience as a fitter and/or demonstrate appropriate electrical knowledge.
- EWRB licence would be advantageous though not a requirement.
