Storeroom Manager

We are looking for a **Storeroom Manager** to join our team at PAK’nSAVE Clarence St

We’re out here trying to help customers load their trolleys with cheap as prices.

The Storeroom is key to getting ordered stock where it needs to be. We take pride in having plenty of stock for the Waikato to purchase, by maintaining an effective flow from inwards goods through to the customers trolley.

**The Role**:

- Ensure all goods coming into the store are accounted for accurately, processed in a timely manner and stored appropriately.
- Use of SAP system to receive and process deliveries and associated stock control functions.
- Follow strict procedures for receiving, handling, storage and rotation of different product types (chilled, frozen, fresh, ambient, chemicals)
- A hands on approach to lead your small team in operating an effective storeroom, assisting staff and merchandisers with access to required stock.
- Ensure safe storage and safe use of Forklifts and Reach trucks in a high racking, warehouse environment
- The role is Monday to Friday, requires 5am starts, and the occasional flexibility to best support your team.

**What are we looking for**:
Our preference is for someone with existing experience in Supermarket Storeroom at a senior Level. However, we are open to someone with experience leading a team in a retail warehouse environment or similar industry with responsibility for inwards goods and storage.
- A leader that is passionate about people, and has the proven ability to prioritise and achieve multiple objectives, while maintaining a calm, controlled and pleasant environment that fosters team development and growth
- Previous Forklift / Inwards goods experience, and current Forklift or Reach truck certificate preferred.
- Familiarity with Excell, experience with SAP inventory control is preferred.
- Experience with Food Control Plan requirements.
- Proven success in achieving KPI’s of productivity, waste/damage targets, and stock availability, combined with an excellent safety record.
