The purpose of this role is to support the Safety and HR functions of the business and to offer general support to the wider team.

This role reports to Quality and Food Safety Manager.

**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Maintain detailed records of personnel files and update relevant data
- Recruitment - Assist the HR Manager & Office Manager on the hiring processes by drafting and posting job openings and scheduling and assisting with interviews and completing Employment Action Forms for managers.
- Procedures and Policies - Update policies and procedures both in MYOSH and on the company intranet.
- Safety Inductions - Prepare and conduct safety inductions and training sessions ensuring that employee participation is documented.
- Safety System - Uploads Best Work Practices, creates training records for all seasonal workers and employees, general administration, rep
- Medicals - Manage the entire medical process from booking to providing complete medical sign off to managers.
- Terminations - Manage the employee termination process including exit interviews and the communication of final check requirements.
- Subcontractor Management - Liaise with subcontractors to assist in achieving compliance requirements.

**Skills / Qualifications**:

- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a similar role or field
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
- Capable of maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in difficult situations.
- Excellent computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office
