**The Opportunity**

Gentrack APAC are currently hiring a Junior Software Engineer to be part of the delivery engineering team.

You are an **experienced Software Engineer** with a passion to learn about **CRM and Billing Systems experience**. You will be expected to take a strong role in **developing quality products** and **dealing with service requests** from customers by actively contributing and collaborating with team members and other developers. **Facilitating and providing high quality innovative solutions** is essential to this role.

**The Specifics**
- Be involved with customers, such as with requirements gathering and software deployment
- Ability to take on multiple tasks within your group and to proactively acquire the product and technical knowledge necessary to deliver your contributions
- Active participation in all aspects of agile software development
- The successful delivery of software from your team to customers
- Collaborate with customers during workshops and design sessions
- Open to receiving feedback on the quality and quantity of your technical outputs from your team, technical reviewers, leads and managers
- Successfully implementing improvements to practice and process
- Work on our bespoke programming language and modern cloud technologies

**Experience / Knowledge**
- 1+ years commercial software development experience OR relevant qualification
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Quick at learning new technologies and systems
- Some knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies
- Experience working in a team especially a self-managing team.
- Familiarity with relevant technologies and concepts including Object Orientated Design, Enterprise Database, AWS, GIT, Web Services, CRM, Utilities industry, SDLC and Agile Methodologies.
