**Exciting Tunnel Officer Trainee opportunity with one of NZ’s biggest contractors who provide essential services. You will be involved in the operation and maintenance of the Christchurch Lyttelton Road Tunnel.**:
**About the role**:
This is a 3 month Fixed Term Contract, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm. This role has the opportunity to be extended on a Casual Contract basis. You will be working in a rewarding role and giving back to the community by helping to ensure the tunnel operates to a high standard.

Your key responsibilities will be helping to ensure the tunnel is operating efficiently and effectively in line with all health and safety procedures.
- Inspecting the tunnel and motorway
- Attending breakdowns, accidents and other incidents
- Assist with tunnel maintenance
- Completing daily reporting and administration

**Required Skills and Competencies**:

- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 including up to date Booster shots.
- Current Class 1 Drivers Licence, Class 2 is Preferred*
- Current First Aid Certification - Preferred*
- Traffic Management Experience - Preferred*
