Bakery Assistant

Location: Christchurch

Hour rate: $25.00

Working hours: At least 45 hours per week

We are looking for a highly personable and enthusiastic bakery assistant to assist us at our Bakery factory, which located in Christchurch. Your duties will include managing baked goods and ingredient inventories, packaging and labelling of product, and taking control of the daily clean-up procedures at the working station. All baking techniques, routines and recipes must be properly followed in order to make products that are consistent in flavour, texture, and size.

Bakery Assistant Responsibilities:

- Maintain a clean and safe work space. The kitchen needs to remain clean an tidy at all times. This includes wiping down countertops in between tasks, sweeping,moping, emptying trash containers, and keeping all equipment clean such as fridges,ovens, stove, mixers, baking racks, rolling bins, etc.
- Baking according to the standardized recipes for all products produced for sale
- Keep daily production records, noting leftovers, product baked, weather, day of the week and date, and quantity of fruit used in product
