We are Based in Rotorua; the Store Manager position requires someone to have can do attitude and focus on details. The position requires to follow standard operating procedures, carry out instructions as detailed in the risk management and adhere to the quality system and procedures. All activities must be conducted in a manner that ensures compliance with relevant legislation and codes of practice.

Day to day responsibilities include:

- Taking responsibility for the store's operational management.
- Ensuring a top-notch customer experience in our retail environment.
- Monitoring and achieving store targets.
- Demonstrating leadership by managing and leading the team, recruiting and training them.
- Handling office tasks, payrolls, invoices, bills receivable, and payables.
- Maintaining adequate stock levels and staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhering to quality requirements and standard operating procedures.
- Completing quality and process documentation for traceability and compliance.
- Upholding high health and safety standards.
- Cultivating a ‘customer-obsessed’ culture within the team.

Key skills and experience required:

- Have at least 3 years of experience in retail or relevant field, or a relevant Diploma in business or management
- Strong leadership skills.
- Proactive, can-do attitude, problem solving oriented.
- Excellent planning, personal organisation, technical skills
- Good level of fitness to lift heavy items.
- Effective communication skills and personal safety awareness.

Other requirements

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

Applicants will require a police check and drug test

Applicants may be required weekends and public holidays

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week

Schedule:
