**Overview**:
We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer with experience working in complex digital environments to join our team on a contract basis. As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging user experiences and intuitive interfaces for our digital products and services. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to conduct user research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and documentation to deliver exceptional design solutions. You will be exposed to several high-profile projects that will have a direct impact to Kiwi's across the country, from transport to climate change initiatves.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Conduct user research [with real people] and develop user personas to inform design decisions
- Create journey maps and wireframes to communicate design concepts and user flows
- Develop high-fidelity prototypes to demonstrate design concepts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop design solutions that meet business and user needs
- Write design documentation, including design specifications and style guides
- Ensure design consistency across products and services
- Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and implementation accuracy
- Right-size design effort based on project scope and business requirements

**What you'll need to bring**:

- At least 5 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer in complex digital environments
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Experience with user research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and documentation
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present design concepts to cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred
