We are looking for an honest, reliable, and hard-working team player who can tick the following boxes:

- Is Physically fit and strong - to be able to complete regular manual handling tasks including lifting and carrying,
- Has working knowledge of scaffold structures and safety nets,
- Has a minimum of 1 year of comparable work experience in scaffolding and safety nets.
- Has strong health and safety knowledge and commitment - preferably have completed formal H&S training e.g. unit standards, SiteSafe or equivalent
- Is able to pass pre-employment, and regular, general health testing including drugs & alcohol.
- Is able to complete required QA and H&S checks and documentation
- Has a can-do work ethic, positive attitude, punctual and communicates well.
- Full, valid, driver’s license - Class 2 or HV preferred but not essential.

**Purpose of Role**:
The main role of a Scaffolder is to install and dismantle Scaffold for building, roofing, repairing and industrial purposes in a safe, efficient and professional manner. Safety nets are used typically for new builds.

**General Duties (KPIs)**:

- Calculate scaffold loadings and decide what scaffolding platform to build
- check worksites for hazards
- unload scaffolding/safety nets from trucks
- fit steel tubes and support braces together to form the scaffolding framework
- lay wooden boards (sole plates) on the ground to spread the weight of the scaffolding
- fasten ladders and guard rails to scaffolding
- take down the scaffolding and load it onto trucks
- check and maintain scaffolding equipment
- arrange safety nets within industry requirements
- regularly inspect erected scaffolding for safety
- talk with clients and discuss their needs and requirements

- follows policies and procedures including safe operating procedures
- actively participates in HSEQ activities, meetings, training or tasks
- reports all accidents, incidents, near misses or hazards
- wears, uses and maintains PPE
- Completes QA checks as required, completes all paperwork required

Pay: From $31.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
