Nurse Manager
The Ultimate Care Group is a privately owned Specialist Residential Aged Care Services Provider. We offer rest home, hospital, and dementia care to the elderly in 19 residential facilities throughout New Zealand.
We are now looking for our new Nurse Manager for one of our smaller facilities in Greytown. At Ultimate Care Palliser House we provide a peaceful, safe and comforting environment for our residents with a warm country feel. We have a wonderful relaxed atmosphere and a varied activities programme.
The role of Nurse Manager brings daily challenges and is immensely rewarding. You will lead and manage the facility whilst providing clinical supervision to result in nothing but outstanding care for our residents.
About the role:
- Provide effective leadership and management to a 32 bed facility
- Manage a team of 30x staff
- Ensure the exceptional care and safety of residents and staff
- Optimize performance outcomes across the business
- Demonstrate sound budget and financial management
- HR management
- H & S leadership
About you:
- Natural leader with strong communication
- A track record of inspiring, mentoring, and motivating staff
- High attention to detail with a passion for excellence
- Excellent time management and prioritizing skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of continuous improvement systems and processes
- Current NZ Annual Practicing Certificate with NZ Nursing Council
