**About the Role**

As an Administrator for District Nursing Service you will often be the voice for the service_. _Our administration team is the backbone of the team to ensure everything runs smoothly. From managing office operations and reception duties to handling data entry, ordering supplies, and providing secretarial support, there is never a dull moment.

**About the Team/Service**

Our District Nursing team of about 70 nurses provide community and clinic-based care to the MidCentral region, supporting approximately 1200 patients / whanau at any given time. We have teams based in seven locations across the region and all rely heavily on the administration support based at Palmerston North.

**About you**

As a Administrator you must be able to demonstrate:

- At all times that you are here to help, listen and support with warmth and professionalism
- Teamwork - it is essential and you are prepared to be flexible, approachable and solution focussed.
- A working knowledge of basic technology, computer programmes (Microsoft Word, Excel, TEAMS) telephony systems and a willingness to learn new skills/systems to meet the ever-changing needs of the service
- Tact, diplomacy, and strict confidentiality
- An ability to work autonomously and be able to prioritise in order to meet deadlines in a busy and at time pressured environment.
- Willingness to work some Saturdays and public holidays, with flexibility to cover for sick or annual leave as needed.
