MASH is a successful, rapidly expanding organisation within the Healthcare Sector, turnover last year was $35M and MASH employs over 500 staff. With our Head Office based in Palmerston North, MASH provides a wide range of disability support services including Mental Health, Addiction, Intellectual and Physical Disability support services and is a significant provider in the Lower North Island.

We are looking for a flexible team player who is wanting a role within a friendly team focused working environment.

Reporting to the Accounting Technician this role is a key member of the Finance Team, contributing to the continuous improvement of finance systems, processes and practices to support service delivery to meet the needs and choices of the people and whānau we support

**You will be responsible for**:

- Processing of creditor invoices and arranging multiple payments
- Creditor statement and Bank reconciliations
- Resolving debtor and creditor queries
- Other finance related functions
**About You**:

- Previous accounts payable experience and good understanding of accounting concepts
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to build strong relationships
- High attention to detail and accuracy as data entry is a critical component of role.
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude combined with an ability to take initiative and work autonomously without supervision.
- Willingness to be flexible and dedicated to meeting reporting deadlines.
- Ability to communicate and work well with others in a team environment.
- An ability to grasp ideas quickly in order resolve problems and issues.

**The Hours**:
This is a fulltime position of 40 hours per week. Hours of work and flexibility to be discussed with the right person.
