Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi - About the Role
Ngā Pūkenga Me Ngā Wheako - Skills and Experience
- Registered Osteopath with a current New Zealand practicing certificate
- A post graduate qualification preferably a PhD or master's degree in Osteopathy, education, or a related discipline
- A minimum of two years full-time clinical experience as a registered osteopath.
- Clinical and educational qualifications that support supervision and teaching of general osteopathy
- A broad range of clinical skills
- Vision, innovation and a commitment to facilitating own and others' learning.
- Capable of supporting students to achieve their learning outcomes.
- The ability to develop and implement flexible teaching and learning methods, including the use of learning technologies
- Digital literacy including - competence using a computer (including Microsoft office products)
- Passionate about osteopathy and the opportunities to improve practice through supervision within the clinic, education, and research.
- High degree of professional judgment and integrity
- Friendly and approachable manner
