**Wellbeing and Safety Advisor**
- Launch your Wellbeing and Safety Career at MIT
- Part time, 30 hours per week, fixed term - November 2025

Covering parental leave for one of the team, this is a visible hands-on role where you can utilise your superb relationship skills to influence to mitigate risk and drive a safety awareness culture. Reporting to the Wellbeing and Safety Manager, with support and guidance from a supportive team, this role will provide the experience you need for your Wellbeing and Safety career. There is a strong emphasis on relationships and collaboration with employees, students, leaders, and key stakeholders creating an environment that is safe, values learning and collaborative.

**Key Tasks**:

- Partnering as an engaging business partner for Wellbeing and Safety to understand leaders and teams needs and assisting them to best support learning and teaching while keeping us safe and well.
- Working with the team to embed a safety awareness culture and related systems and processes.
- Reporting, assisting return to work, learning reviews and engaging with teams on the ground.
- Working with MIT's Wellbeing and Safety team as well as the opportunity to work alongside the wider Rohe 1 Wellbeing and Safety Team.

**About You**:
This opportunity requires strong communication skills and experience of proactively developing working relationships and using influence to gain commitment, preferably in a large organisation. While formal qualifications are desirable, they are not essential, however you must be able to show your passion for the industry and how your skills and experience gained, give you the knowledge and confidence to take this next step.
