**Role Overview**
- **Position**: Freelance Tour Guide
- **Location**: Wellington
- **Contract Type**: Freelance
- **Payment**: Fixed salary of **220 NZD/day**:

- **Schedule**: Flexible — choose the days and hours that work for you

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead private, tailored walking tours for international guests
- Share engaging insights about Wellington’s history, culture, and key landmarks
- Adapt each experience to match the guests’ interests and expectations

**What We’re Looking For**
- **Local Knowledge**: Strong understanding of Wellington’s history, neighborhoods, and hidden gems
- **Languages**: Fluency in **French**:

- **Experience**: Prior guiding or hosting experience is a plus — but not a must
- **Flexibility**: Ability to lead tours that typically last between **3 to 8 hours**:

- **Bonus**: A love for food and interest in **hosting food-focused experiences**
