**About the role**

As a Graduate Engineer with us, we will support, develop, and establish your knowledge on geotechnical solutions, across varied sites for residential and commercial land development projects.

You will undertake geotechnical engineering investigations, soil testing, analysis and reporting. Field testing will see you perform Scala penetrometer tests, hand augured boreholes, test pits and CPT, logging core samples, slope survey profiling, permeability testing, fill testing and Clegg hammer testing.

**About you**
- Bachelor of Engineering, Engineering Geology or equivalent qualification
- 1-2 years experience but we are open to recent Graduates. If you have experience as a geotechnical field technician within a consultancy that would be a bonus
- Basic knowledge of NZS3604:2011 and other relevant Building Codes. Understand New Zealand Soil and Rock Description Guideline
- Have basic knowledge of soil mechanics, slope stability, retaining wall, earthworks and geotechnical foundation engineering
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to relate effectively and professionally to people at all levels
- Excellent report writing skills and documentation
- Thrive on a challenge and be motivated to provide innovative solutions for our clients
- Enjoy working in a team environment and communicating with a wide range of people
