New World Te Kuiti is looking for a Grocery Manager. In this role you will gain similar experience running the largest department in the store as running your own business, with the challenge of creating an outstanding team that delivers awesome shopping experiences for our local community.

You will be responsible for planning and coordinating all facets of the day-to-day operations of the departments including leading and inspiring your team, operational/stock processes and retail standards.

You will need to approach your role through a customer driven lens to maximise sales growth and product availability on shelf whilst managing rosters so that our customers receive an outstanding shopping experience.

Grocery Manager

**THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE**:

- A strong people focus; be able to lead and supervise, work well with others, and persuade and influence.
- A results focus; be able to plan and organise to be able to deliver results through others.
- A customer focus; be able to meet and exceed customer expectations; and
- A co-operative spirit: be able to adhere to the store’s values and understand and utilise the advantage of being part of a co-operative.

Our preferred applicant will be physically fit and healthy, computer literate and have retail experience in a manager or supervisor role within the supermarket industry.
