We need a keen and motivated Asphalt Plant Operator to join the Fulton Hogan team at our Asphalt Plant - based at our Hamilton depot.

Your primary tasks will be focused on training for your new role, then operating our asphalt plant. You will be part of a highly knowledgeable and experienced team and, once trained, will rotate daily tasks regularly with them. This means you will have a good amount of variety to your day and will be able to; operate the asphalt plant, operator the loader & excavator, bag EZ Street product, load customers and perform basic daily maintenance. Also with our brand new asphalt plant, you will have the chance to be able work and operate a new toy

To be successful in this role, you will:
- WTR & forklift endorsement- 3 years + operating a loader- Asphalt knowledge & experience- Class 2 licence (preferred but not essential)- Confidence with computers and numbers- Desire to learn and pick up new skills- Good problem solving skills- Mechanically and practically minded- Good communication skills and a positive attitude- Being a team player, self-motivated and take pride in your work- Passion and commitment to safety in the workplace
