Working with the Procurement and Commercial team (the internal procurement function of MBIE), you will contribute to the success of our customer centric operating model in the Procurement and Commercial Operations team within the Corporate Services, Enablement and Finance (CSFE) group.

This permanent position requires your procurement knowledge to assist in providing considered, pragmatic advice on procurement matters to improve procurement capability across the branch and deliver on a truly customer centric approach.

Reporting to the Procurement Practice Manager, this role works within a team of fun and competent procurement professionals who are passionate about delivering results and achieving the best value for money whilst working to MBIE's purpose of Growing New Zealand for All.

As a Procurement Advisor you will provide exceptional customer service along with generalist procurement advice and end to end processes for lower value, lower risk procurement activities and support to our stakeholders to deliver on the procurement needs of MBIE whilst taking a commercial view as well as working in the NZGP framework.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Experience within a commercial or procurement environment
- Experience in analysing procurement issues, evaluating options and reporting on them
- Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills, along with relationship management skills.
- Knowledge and practical experience in the provision of business advice to stakeholders
- Skilled in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and preparation of presentations Ētahi kōrero mō MBIE - About MBIE:
