Do you have a passion for learning and professional development within the Allied Health, Scientific and Technical (AHST) workforce, with strengths around communication and networking?

The People and Professional Development team is currently seeking a dynamic and innovative Allied Health Educator to support AHST staff. The Allied Health Educator will interact with a diverse range of Counties Manukau staff, including AHST professional leaders and managers.

Key responsibilities include the planning, coordination and delivery of training and other professional development for the AHST workforce. You will proactively engage with the workforce, seeking out new and creative ways to include the broader AHST community in building capability opportunities. You will also successfully coordinate workforce-related projects, ensuring that you meet the stakeholders’ needs within available resources.

This position is available on a permanent, part time basis working between Monday - Friday.

**Essential**:

- Registered Allied Health, Scientific or Technical practitioner, or member of professional body if registration is not applicable
- Hold a current APC if applicable
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience
- Experience in leading/delivering professional development activities in a healthcare environment
- Project coordination experience
- Full, clean driver’s licence
