**Job Description**:
Sitting within the Data, Insights & Services Chapter Area (and reporting into the Data Engineer Chapter Lead) you will work in our Data Acceleration squad to deliver outcomes identified as part of the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process.

Investment has happened in the Data Engineering space with our warehousing moving to Snowflake, along with the introduction of DBT. By joining our Data Engineering chapter, you will be joining a cohort of 8 Data Engineers so there is also that comradery.

Day to day, you will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team, leveraging your technical skills to architect solutions - developing, maintaining, and testing infrastructures for data generation. Along with expanding and optimising our data pipeline, data flow and collection to ultimately ensure the data can be easily analysed by stakeholders. You will work closely with the data science team, data analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and accessibility.

**Qualifications**:
First and foremost, you have a passion for setting up data solutions. Equally important, is your ability to uncover and understand business requirements and translate this into technical solutions. We will rely on your thirst to learn, coupled with your strong collaboration skills.

You will bring the following to the role:

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, and experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Azure cloud would be a bonus
- Experience with cloud-based data infrastructure like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with data modelling, data warehousing, and data lake concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Open and resilient to change
