This role is a permanent part time position (20 hours per week) and sits at Grade 5 ($37.13-39.72 per hour) on the Support Staff within Schools Collective Agreement.
The Finance/Payroll Officer is responsible for all Payroll activities within the school and works closely with the HR team to ensure changes are captured. They are responsible for tracking and monitoring all assets including vehicles and other general finance duties to support the day to day running of the finance department.
**Responsibilities;**
- Payroll management
- Preparing and filing of GST
- Asset Schedule Maintenance
- Insurance and Insurance claims
- General finance assistance
**Required Skills and Experience;**
- Accountancy or advanced bookkeeping qualification with suitable experience.
- Minimum of 2 years Payroll experience.
- Minimum of 2 years working in a financial accounting role
- Experience dealing with confidential organisational information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders at all levels
- High competency with Excel/Sheets & Accounting software
