The Oracle Database Senior Specialist will provide technical consulting and managed services to a wide range of customers locally in Australia and New Zealand as a key member of our Database practice.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop Technical Architecture Solutions to meet client requirements
- Design and build specific database environments to meet business requirements
- Pre-sales consultancy for a wide range of Exadata and Oracle Database customers
- Mentoring DBA team members and providing Guidance and knowledge transfer in alignment with industry best practices
- Provide Managed Services support and act as a Lead Support consultant
- Assist in solving technical and performance problems

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent technical design skills across database, infrastructure and OCI
- 10+ years of experience with implementations, upgrades, conversions and consolidation projects with Oracle databases
- Strong experience with Oracle database ranging from 10g through to 19c across UNIX/Linux and Windows platforms
- Experience administering Oracle database on Exadata
- Strong command administering database security, data recovery, performance monitoring and tuning
- Proficient in writing and optimising SQL statements
- Excellent management, stakeholder engagement, and technical communication skills

**Highly desirable skills**:

- Experience with SSO and E-Business Suite 11i / R12 would be highly desirable;
- Experience with administering Oracle databases on PaaS environments;
- Experience with administering databases on Exadata Cloud at Customer
