**Mō te tūnga | About the role**:
The Labour Leader’s Office (LLO) is seeking a dedicated professional to support the Parliamentary Labour Party Leader and members of Parliament in their parliamentary duties. The Content Producer/Videographer will support the development of digital and social media content, take high quality video and photos, assist with video production for major events and editing.

**Content Producer**responsibilities will include though not limited to:

- Regularly initiate and plan digital content.
- Work closely with other members of the media and communications team to ensure consistency of all digital content and communications.
- Ensure reliable and repeatable digital content workflows and team processes are created and followed.
- Regularly monitor, review, and adapt digital content approaches to maintain the maximum impact of content.
- Monitoring the digital content of other political parties and relevant organisations.
- Initiate, plan and undertake photo opportunities.
- Initiate, plan and publish social media content.
- Initiate, plan and create video, audio and static content.
- Provide digital advice and support to all members of Labour Parliamentary Office.
- Assist with training and support for members of the team as required.
- Proficient in using Adobe suite, and other video and captioning software.

**Videographer** responsibilities will include though not limited to:

- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and broadcast.
- Maintain and operate video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio devices.
- Collaborate with the communications team to develop engaging video content that aligns with communication plans, values and objectives.
- Ensure videos are creatively and effectively shot and edited to deliver impactful messages to our target audience.
- Brainstorm and develop innovative and visually appealing concepts for video projects.
- Conduct interviews with the leader, MPs, stakeholders, supporters and the public to capture authentic and compelling stories.
- Cover leader events ensuring all significant moments are documented professionally.
- Edit video footage using editing software, and use graphics, animation or special effects to add interest to video and create polished and professional final products

The starting salary range for this role is $90,000 per annum pro-rata to 25 hours. Appointments will be based on skills and experience (please note, the full salary range extends beyond this to allow for tenure progression).
