**About the role**:
The Online campus is looking for a part time (20 hours/week) Online Sports Tutor.
As an Online Sports Tutor, you will be walking into an energetic online environment where value is placed on delivering outcomes rather than micro-managing work and tasks in our Health and Fitness Personal Trainer, Level 4 and 5 programmes. You will be given autonomy to work in a way that gets the best results and will be expected to take responsibility and make things happen.

Some of your key responsibilities will be to:

- Participate in the continuous improvement of course content and learning resources
- Deliver assessments and grade assessments: ensuring students are evaluated to prescribed national and local qualification standards
- Keep records of accurate student data, assessment results, student participation, student-at-risk and other required documentation.
- Meet NZIS targets for student achievement and recruitment
- Relevant sport, exercise and recreation Industry stakeholder engagement

**About you**:
To be a Personal Training Tutor, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in exercise science/sport management or other related fields **or** experience in the sport, exercise or recreation industry and the relevant industry experience in personal training. You must have the ability to operate independently and be able to connect with students of all age groups become the fitness leaders of tomorrow.

In addition, you must also have:

- A passion for the sports fitness and recreation industries and have will have networks within the local sporting/fitness communities.
- An ability to connect with students through facilitated asynchronous delivery: through our platform’s forums, messaging and live sessions. Must also provide basic pastoral care and support to the students.
