**( POSITION : Tiler assistant )**

Mark tiling Limited is a promising business with high satisfaction of consumers ,providing tiling services to commercial buildings, residential apartments, and big construction projects. We have accumulated quality clients and gained great reputation in the industry since our incorporation in 2020 Our office is located at Nelson Street, Auckland CBD
1010. Mark tiling Ltd are operating throughout Auckland and surrounding areas. You can get a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week, a motivated working environment with our share & care policy. With a few big projects coming up soon, we are in great need for
1 - 2 tiler assistants to join our dynamic team.

**The main tasks of the role include**:
1. Assist professional tilers during tiling projects.
2. Prepare work areas, clean surfaces, and remove old tiles.
3. Transport and handle tiles, adhesives, and grout to the work site.
4. Mix adhesives and grout following instructions from the lead tiler.
5. Help with layout and measurement of tiles for proper alignment.
6. Operate tile cutting tools to cut tiles as needed.
8. Participate in the grouting process and clean off excess grout.
9. Contribute to post-installation clean-up and tool maintenance.
10. Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
11. Learn from lead tilers to improve skills and techniques.
12. Other duties the Employer may reasonably require from time to time.

**The successful applicant shall**:
1. Preferably have work experience in tiling or construction industry
2. Be responsible, hardworking and physically fit.
3. Be well organised and capable of multi-task
4. Be self-managing and able to work effectively in a team as well individually
5. Be able to work overtime when required
6. Have a passion for satisfying our customers requirements and expectations
7. Have good time management skills,
8. Have a Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality focus
9. Have no drug or alcohol issue
10. Have no Criminal convictions record
11.You are proactively at work and keep a positive attitude, flexible, accurate, love the job, listen, be responsible for the job and ready to perform the tasks professionally according to the assignment and guidance of the company. Be honest, reliable, and well presented.
