This is a full time position of 40 hours per week

The remuneration range for this role is $83,096 to $117,312 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience

**The opportunity**

As an Engineering Analyst, you will develop and maintain network data reporting and analysis support across the Network Engineering team including reporting, analysis and insights using new and existing data. You will support engineering investigations including analysing the performance of the three waters services against environmental public health.

Working collaboratively with the Digital Products and Services team you will help improve data quality and champion the business to better utilise data to drive network and system improvements.

Being an Engineering Analyst is more than being technically capable. You will be confident working within the team and collaborating across disciplines.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will bring:

- An Engineering Qualification in Civil, Environmental or Water related field
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in analysing and interpreting data to both improve quality and draw insights relating to infrastructure and assets.
- A strong understanding of legislative and regulatory environmental compliance.
- Strong statistical and analytical skills, with experience in data validation and the ability to draw insights and tell a story from data.
- Experience with water-modelling software such as GIS and data analytical reporting software such as Tableau or Power BI.

This role will suit an individual that comes from a water modelling background or that has a passion for putting their Engineering degree to a role that will provide analysis and insight to improved asset management and environmental protection.
