Frozen and Chilled Assistant

We require a **Full time Frozen and chilled assistant** to join our team. This role is responsible for replenishing the stock via our Inwards Goods, containers to the shop floor.

This role is responsible the replenishment of the store on an ongoing basis, store presentation, and legislative compliance. It is also responsible (in conjunction) with the buyer for minimizing out of stocks. You will be measured on your customer focus aligning with the Gilmours Values. As well as your cleanliness, gaps, and presentation. You're also expected to help other team members when directed.
- Merchandising and store presentation that delivers and exceeds our customer needs.
- Build relationships with the wider team and leadership to get the very best result.
- Coordinate the retrieval of stock from inwards and other locations e.g., tops appropriately for replenishment.
- Coordinate with team leaders / Buyer / Operations Manager to ensure appropriate prioritization of replenishment e.g., promotional lines /out of stocks etc.
- Ensure all stock is efficiently located in the appropriate shelf / location in a timely fashion while ensuring healthy and safety standards are met.
- Minimize out of stocks and liaise effectively over stocks with the Buyer and stock controllers with any stock or count data related issues.
- Undertake seasonal change arounds - ensure efficient transition / placement of seasonal stock until next year.
- The ability to problem solves on their own Previous experience in a Retail or Wholesale environment
- Ensure appropriate rotation of stock if placing stock back in storeroom locations.

**Roster hours Full-time. Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm**

- A love of passionate interest in and/or experience in foodservice sales is highly desired.
- SAP Knowledge preferred.
- Fork hoist and Reach licence preferred.
- Have a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.
