**Te Au Reka - Improving access to justice for all New Zealanders**

Te Au Reka represents the opportunity of a lifetime, making a profound difference to those who work in, and interact with, courts and tribunals. This new digital case management system will help modernise the administration of justice in Aotearoa New Zealand. It will replace highly manual, time-consuming, paper-based processes, transforming the way people access and experience justice in New Zealand.

Te Au Reka is a large, complex and unique programme, spanning courts and tribunals nationwide. In delivering Te Au Reka we're challenging traditional norms in search of more innovative ways of working. We explore, learn and adapt to overcome hurdles and take advantage of opportunities. We are a high functioning and collaborative team working in a fast-paced environment, motivated by the significance of this work and supporting each other to get it done. Te Au Reka is a game-changer and we care deeply about making it a success.

This is where you come in. We'll be implementing Te Au Reka over the next few years and are looking for people to be part of our team.

**Te Haeata/The Opportunity**

It is an exciting time to join the Digital and Information team here within the Te Au Reka programme. Our approach for the new operating model is truly customer centric and service-based, driven by the need for continuous improvement and maintenance throughout the service lifecycle.

This Data Engineer role sits within the Digital and Information Delivery team for Te Au Reka.

The Delivery team is responsible for providing support for the initial design and development of the Te Au Reka service, and then for ongoing operational management and support once the service is rolled out. The Delivery team will also be responsible for continuous improvements to the service as part of the product roadmap.

As the Data Engineer within the Delivery Team, you will report to the Delivery Manager, and you'll play a key part in building and maintaining data solutions to support Te Au Reka. You'll work on designing data models, developing data pipelines, and ensuring data governance and system integration across cloud and legacy platforms. You'll also collaborate across teams and stakeholders to provide technical leadership and drive continuous improvement in our data ecosystem. The Delivery team is a cross-functional team focussed on ensuring the delivery of Te Au Reka meets required programme outcomes and delivers value.

You will enjoy working in transformational programmes of work, be experienced in managing ambiguity and value diversity of thought while respecting culture and traditions. You will contribute to creating an inclusive work environment where differences are acknowledged and respected, contributing to a strong team that delivers in a positive environment. If you thrive on delivering business outcomes and ensuring customer-centric service design is applied to everything you do, we want to hear from you
