**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of the audit engagement process, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, providing guidance and advice on audit-related matters.
- Lead and supervise audit teams, ensuring the completion of assignments within specified timeframes and budget constraints.
- Review audit work papers, financial statements, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and professional standards.
- Identify and communicate audit findings, risks, and opportunities for improvement to clients and senior management.
- Stay updated on industry developments, accounting standards, and regulations to ensure the firm's audit methodology remains current and relevant.
- Participate in business development activities, including networking, proposal writing, and presenting to potential clients.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Must be in New Zealand or have the right to work in New Zealand due to border restrictions.
- Professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA) is preferred but not required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit and assurance.
- Proven experience in managing and leading audit engagements, including supervising teams.
