This is a busy and diverse role, assisting residents with their day-to-day activities such as showering, delivering meals and much more. Therefore, you will need to be resilient, kind and patient, while a good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best in personal care. This is a permanent, full-time role of at least 30 hours per week Work to be performed across a roster 4 days on 2 days off. **Responsibilities include but are not limited to**: - Provide personal care to residents under the guidance of the Registered Nurse, including assistance with daily needs such as showering, meals, toileting, and other tasks as outlined in individual care plans. - Foster respectful and supportive relationships with residents and their families to enhance mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Assist in delivering activity programs tailored to residents' needs. - Contribute to creating a welcoming, enjoyable, and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff. - Provide care assistance across the village, including first aid response and support for residents in Care Centre, Villas, Apartments, and Care Apartments as needed. - Adhere to policies and procedures, maintain accurate records, promptly report concerns, and ensure professional and ethical conduct. - Perform additional tasks as required, such as cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, escorting residents, or assisting with organized activities. - Please click here to view the full job description. **Qualifications**: - Achievement of Level 4 (Health and Wellbeing) or atleast 5 years of experience in aged care may be acceptable - A team player who collaborates effectively to support residents. - Genuine interest in working with older people. - Empathy, kindness, patience, and emotional resilience for challenging situations. - Strong communication skills. - Positive, "can-do" attitude, be available to work on a rostered and rotating shift pattern (including mornings, afternoon and weekends). **Additional Information**: **What’s is in it for you?
