Grundfos Pumps New Zealand are seeking the skills of a professional Lead Production Technician to join our friendly, inclusive, and highly inspirational Production team, based in our Christchurch office, servicing our customers in New Zealand.
- Warehouse management & stock management (cycle counting), Inbound and outbound goods
- Raising and updating purchase orders, impeller production
- Arranging urgent airfreight/DHL parts
- Pump Assembly
- Office Facility Management and Plant/Warehouse maintenance (ensuring maintenance, servicing and calibration of production equipment)
- Mentor, guide and support Production Assistant providing daily guidance, supervision and task allocation
- Ensure health and safety of production facility as well as First Aid Officer
- Materiel Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) management
- Provide support to all internal and external customers
The ideal applicant with embody the following skills and experience attributes:
- Should be a fully qualified Forklift license in New Zealand (or be able to obtain the equivalent mutual recognition)
- Must have 2 - 3 years assembly experience in New Zealand
- Must have TFO (Transitional Facility Operator, MPI) or at a push AP (Accredited Person, MPI)
- Ideally has SAP knowledge or good computer skills
- Frontline leadership course
- Experience working as a leading hand
- With background in doing First Aid
- Experience working with Materiel Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Awareness of Manual Handling
- Knowledge in WHS practices
- Experience using information platforms such as SAP, would be great
- Ability to work with processes or projects within the service environment.
