We are looking for a **General Engineer / Fabricator** for a Truck Dealership in New Plymouth.
Based in New Plymouth, a vibrant, sunny west coast city known for its warm climate, picturesque parks, fantastic walks, great fishing and hunting.
You will be working from a new state of the art, award winning multi franchise workshop within the backdrop of Mount Egmont National Park.
This branch requires another Engineer that can carry out general R&M repairs on trucks and trailers and/or have the skills to build new decks and truck set ups.
**Benefits**
- $60k - $80k salary dependant on experience
- Monday to Friday 7:30am
- 4pm
- Generous overtime rate

**For this role you will need to**
- Be qualified as an Engineer/Fabricator or have at least 4 years experience working in a truck workshop environment
- Have the ability to interpret plans/engineering drawings
- Carry out all engineering repairs to trucks and trailers
- Make modifications and adaptions
- Be available for overtime which will include some weekends when needed
- Understand the pressures on the transport industry and be willing to exceed expectations
