We are excited to announce a new permanent opportunity to be a part of a step change in data governance for Beca. Play a key role in the delivery of a new data governance platform and help to provide technical support as well as shaping our foundational processes and contributing to increased data maturity across Beca.

In this role, you will provide technical support and leadership for our data governance platform, tools, and data product marketplace. You will work closely with our vendors to ensure product uptime, successful upgrades, and the delivery of new functionality, all while staying current with the latest data trends and product advancements. Your product management skills will be essential in understanding the platform, its technical roadmap, and maximizing its use while increasing user capability.

Additionally, you will maintain strong business relationships to offer assistance, communicate new functionality, and partner to extend the use of the product and the capability within Beca. Leveraging your knowledge of data governance and data management, you will contribute to data governance practices and maturity.

With over 5 years of experience, you combine technical proficiency with a passion for data and strong communication and collaboration skills. With your data background, you understand the importance of data and recognise the need for robust data governance and security.

You are passionate about growing your knowledge and experience and looking for an organisation that will support those aspirations.

Success and enjoyment in this role will come from understanding the technical data governance platform, your ability to support or configure the platform when needed, and to drive continuous improvement. With a strong business solution focus, you will enable the business to adopt new technology seamlessly. Your knack for engaging with people, fostering confidence, and contributing to increased capability will set you apart.

Collaboration with partners, Data Stewards, and specialists will be essential to optimise the safe, secure use of data. Your curiosity and passion for the potential of technology will drive you to explore how it can improve the ways we work with data, now and into the future.
