IT Field Engineer

**The Role**

This role will involve a lot of travel, so if you see job adverts stating 'no two days are ever the same' this truly can be said of this position Within this 9 month contract, you will travel from Auckland to Christchurch and many places in-between to provide assistance with a mass rollout of new systems and software. With this level of travel in mind, we are looking for someone who is happy to be away a couple of weeks / month for the duration of this contract (overnight accommodation will be provided, and expenses paid out weekly). Experience with systems such as Windows and the MS Stack are essential, and if you have experience in the manufacturing industry already it would be a real bonus. Be ready to pack your suitcase, and gain experience from the top company engineers

**Duties**
- Travel throughout New Zealand to install and configure systems and hardware
- Provide second & third level support including logging and handling of ICT incidents and service requests
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software (Microsoft) and peripheral devices.
- Escalate tickets to the appropriate Level 3 technician/team (or beyond) as required
- Monitor your personal ticket queue (requests and incidents) and reprioritise your workload to ensure all tickets are resolved within the defined SLA.
- Re-image computers with the SoE as recommended by the head office team

**Skills & Experience**
- Experience with the MS Stack and Windows
- Experience as a field engineer
- Ability to think on your feet and troubleshoot
- Software administration, including user/licence management
- Root cause analysis
- NZ driver's license
